RCKL would begin by introducing the client to an enabling works contractor to undertake the Demolition and Contamination Works of this former Petrol Station site. After taking over this awkward shaped site which was surround by Conservation Area, the first job was to ensure that all Ground Floor Slabs were treated with a special Vapour Barrier to ensure any Contamination fumes remaining could not rise through into the new homes.

Due to the huge amount of made up ground on this site a change in foundation design meant Piling methods had to be quickly introduced.

With a Row of Terraced houses set out on a curve fronting the site with huge Oak Framed feature gables this project has quickly become a flagship example of our portfolio.

The site had a lot of neighbours who had lived in this village for a number of years – so it was very important that we earnt they’re trust during the project. We are pleased to say we left this site with many compliments and new friends!
