Four High Class Apartments were created within this former retirement home.

An old passenger lift was removed as part of the initial strip out and structural alterations cleverly implemented to form the new apartments. This also included creating Party Walls and Floors to provide the adequate fire and acoustic properties required.

With Conservation restrictions – Timber Sash Windows were installed to road side elevations, with UPVC sash windows being allowed to the ‘hidden’ elevations. The old UPVC Cladding was removed and the existing brickwork revamped to complete the building’s new facelift.

Internally, the High Class finishes were complemented with Timber Panelling and Coving to give that extra period look in keeping with the history of the building.

The client obtained planning for this project at which point rise Construction were appointed to Design out the project for Building Regulations and assisted in all other elements of the Design Processes such as SAP Ratings, Acoustic and Air Tests.
